Dye to locate oil leak? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

I have been to AutoZone for the dye & black light to find my oil leak,,, as suggest in my other post.

They carry a dye and glasses for the AC system. Would this be OK in the oil?

Or does anyone know where I can buy a dye specific for locating oil leaks?

In the mean time, I will call around to the various part stores.

That's not the stuff you want. Tracer dye usually comes in a kit with two bottles, one for finding coolant leaks, and one for every other kind of leak.

Dont use that stuff. Napa carries it and its one little bottle. Poor it in and it works.Good Luck.

i work for dodge and they sell a 4 in 1 dye does oil diesel oil atf and fuel...
