305 fuel pump help?!?!

hey all!!

my fuel pump will not prime i have replaced the relay and the ignition control module. i need to check the pump wires and see if am getting power to it and directly power it to see if it powers up. If i have to replace the pump i wanted to put in an aftermarket in case i wanted or needed to swap the engine for lets say an LT1 or LS1. I know that they need a more powerful pump than the stock 305. So what are your suggestions on the pump.

Also what is the deal with the 4th gen gastank swap??

what are the advantages and problems?

thanx!

I bought my friends Ford Racing 192LPH pump, I fastened it to the sending unit and used a rubber hose to hook it up to the line out. Real easy, and puts out what i'll need.

You can get a 255lph and not need another pump ever. If you do, you can always go inline too.

No need to go spending $500 on a pump if you'll never need it. A stock replacement (75lph?) would work just fine and dont cost that much.
