The springs can. The retainers and locks can't. You maybe could get some locks to work with the regular SBC valves and LS1 retainers, but its not worth it. The locks can definitely not be used the shape is wrong.

The SBC uses a 11/32 inch valve stem and 7 degree locks on a stock motor. The LS1 uses a 8mm valve stem and 10 degree valve locks. You can buy the correct locks and retainers from Comp Cams. I'm installing the beehive valve springs on my next rebuils. I'm using the Comp Cams 918 springs.

There's some info here:
http://thirdgen.org/techbb2/showthre...&highlight=LS1

LS1 valvestems are 8mm
You cannot mix LS1 style keepers with stock SBC valves.
You can however swap to 8mm guides and use LS1 valves in SBC heads. Then the LS1 keepers are fine.
