So i'm about to order all my parts up , thanks for the help selecting them ,including a XE 274 cam and i see on ebay that a guy living close to me is selling the following kit
Now living in the U.K parts rarely come up on ebay so it might be a good buy.
Any of you guys used this cam before ? its to go in a 350 with forged pistons / connecting rods , block bored .030" over , crank ground .010" under. I will be using the edelbrock RPM heads so the cam lift wont be a problem. Loopy idle is also not a problem
Not the same. This Lunati cam is quite a bit bigger.
more intended for a high compression ratio drag or circle track motor running a single plane intake and open headers.
Very rough idle, very low manifold vaccuum. Pass.
email the seller and have him clarify the actual cam part number or grind number.
if it is Lunati number 00012 these are the specs.
HYDRAULIC, Fair idle. Good street street/strip cam. Needs headers, gear and converter. 2500-6500 300°

it is simular to Comp Cams 292H magnum
it is a good step more radical than the XE274H
Definatly needs a high 3500rpm stall converter, and 4.10's
use with 10:1 + compression and a 750 with a Vic JR intake.
