one guy posted here a little while ago, chucked the pistons up in a mill, and used one of those abrasive nylon brushes and ran it over the piston top.
I just used a needle file to remove the sharp edges, then went over it all with 180grit sandpaper, then 400 grit. I could have used a felt bob in a dremel, with autosol polish too, but I didn't. A cross buff in a dremel/die grinder would probably work too. I have hyper pistons, which tend to have more shine due to the silicon I believe.
Thanks for the reply. Going over the sharp edges is a good idea. I was already planning on the sandpaper route. That is what I will most likely end up doing.
