beefy 305 roller cam?

looking for a roller cam that would give good pulling power throught out the rpm range of a 305 and give a somewhat of a rough idle(I like the sound) with out changing anything on the heads.what cam and where to buy?and also the biggest cam I can get with out mods to the motor.

So let me get this straight...you want a huge cam, for basically no other reason than sound (and maybe a little more power), you dont want to upgrade the valve springs, exhaust, or anything else? That should run good. Im hoping youre not TPI, because with that kind of nonsense, you better know someone thats damn good at tuning and burning proms.

what heads do you have... that is the question...
no matter what you will be safe with an LT1 cam.

I ment no mods to the engine,I have flowmaster and headers and I plan on getting a comp. chip and bigger fuel injectors.and I do have a tpi and it's not just for sound,I use to building older engines and this roller cam stuff to me is useless.if it wasnt a hassle I'd take all the computer stuff out and go carbbed
----------
they are the stock heads from my 91 z28 305tpi

An RPM preformer kit might be worth looking into, because itll get you a fair cam, heads and carb i belive, unless you feel you have really good heads and itd be worthless to swich them out.
