best heads for a '67 327?

i'm picking up a 1967 327 block with rods/pistons/crank to replace the 305 i have in there now, and i was just wondering what would be the best heads to run on this motor for a nitrous setup? i'd like to keep compression relatively low, plan on hitting it with at least a 150 shot so keep it under say 9.5:1. i'm also trying to do this on a budget, so as much as i'd like to have them i can't really afford any Twisted Wedge heads or anything to that extent. What would be good heads to use on this block?

What pistons are in there? flat tops?
What cc head do you want/need, in order to get to 9.5:1?
United Engine and Machine Co.

I'd guess in the range of 64cc, so with that wild guess; 083 heads, some of the old school double humps (since you seem to be able to get a '67 327 motor, might have a source for old school parts), vortec heads, or some ported 416 heads (bigger chambers), would work ok on the cheap.

The camel-hump heads on my T/A came off a '68 327-300. They have 62-63 cc chambers. I think they were like 9-9.5:1 back in the day. I would not recommend them unless this is a "low-buck" build. They lack mounting bosses for front accessories and do not have hardened exhaust seats. I have to run lead-substitute in every tank of gas because the heads were designed for leaded gasoline.
I also owned a '67 327-275. (showing his age) The stock heads on that motor had 1.72" intake valves. Hard to believe they made 275 HP with 'em huh? I can vouch for the stock cast pistons in the 327. I burned one in that engine using regular leaded gasoline. (of course it was being rawhided by a teenager).
So, if you have a '67 327 and you're going to run nitrous, you're going to have to get pistons for it.
If you're going to do that, why don't you build a 327 stroker?
It's called a 350.

Available at any junkyard for $300.
