The camel-hump heads on my T/A came off a '68 327-300. They have 62-63 cc chambers. I think they were like 9-9.5:1 back in the day. I would not recommend them unless this is a "low-buck" build. They lack mounting bosses for front accessories and do not have hardened exhaust seats. I have to run lead-substitute in every tank of gas because the heads were designed for leaded gasoline.
I also owned a '67 327-275. (showing his age) The stock heads on that motor had 1.72" intake valves. Hard to believe they made 275 HP with 'em huh? I can vouch for the stock cast pistons in the 327. I burned one in that engine using regular leaded gasoline. (of course it was being rawhided by a teenager).
So, if you have a '67 327 and you're going to run nitrous, you're going to have to get pistons for it.
If you're going to do that, why don't you build a 327 stroker?
It's called a 350.
Available at any junkyard for $300.
