300 PSI?!? thats way to much pressure. Ok you changed oil, Did you go to just standard royal purple or fully synthetic? Synthetics have been known to cause lower oil pressure on some applications due to parts being worn and the oil is more slipprey. The nice thing about synthetics on high performance is they well produce better oil pressure when hot cause they are a more stable oil. At least according to what the oil manufacturers told me at the last seminar that I went to.

Do yyou mean 30?????

Because if u have 300 you have either a VERY extreme oil pump or your sender is just ****ed up lol

Either that or theres something wrong with the system...

Try hooking up a mechanical oil pressure gauge, they seem to be damned accurate and that will tell you exactly whats going on

eh..... Maybe an overseas model? Reading in Kpa or something... Stock gauges go from 0-60 psi or 0-80 for the v6.

I live in Canada, and our gauges read in Kpa, that is what you have it sounds like. 200 kpa is about 30 PSI, 300 Kpa is about 45 PSI.
