Car: 91 rs, '11 duramax, '04 gto Engine: Blow through 383 Transmission: Manual th350 ATI 3000 Axle/Gears: 3.50 9" | which ignition parts should I use?
I currently have a supercharger on my car and have an msd 6al-btm. I'm also using an hei with coil on top. I've read that the stock hei components arent reliable past 4k rpms. The msd box takes care of the module, but I'm stuck on what coil to get.
There are coils to replace the one in cap, but arent rated very high voltage.
There are also kits that replace the cap and move the coil outside, this would be better as far as heat goes and magnetic interference.
I'd like my ignition to be good enough to light a 600hp 383 with 8lbs of boost. | | | |
