Woohoo free Aluminum LT1 heads!

I work at Northpoint Watersports, we sell boats/service/detail/rig/trade. There were 2 engines sitting around back in the junk area, a GT-40 and a aluminum headed LT1. Both have cracked blocks but my boss just gave the GT-40 to one of the riggers and I got the LT1! You all know how big companies are about things that are worth somethin but not worth anything to them. The intake, opti, and waterpump was already robbed off of it; but, I already purcahsed an LT1 bout a half year ago (cast iron) and got everything with it. So now's the time to decide whether to go for the LT1 swap into my 91 RS, or go with the 350 block LT1 head conversion.

Re: Woohoo free Aluminum LT1 heads!

I picked them up yesterday afternoon! Those suckers are clean! I'll throw some pics up this afternoon when I get home from work. I've yet to find the crack in the block but It might be internal.

Re: Woohoo free Aluminum LT1 heads!

LT-1 was never my flavor, too many wierd things that look like they belong on a ford. I vote for a LT-1 topped SBC
