Anyone else have valvecover fitment issues with AFR heads?

It's really not a big deal, I had planned on getting some perimeter style covers anyway, but today I was messing with the heads and noticed that the centerbolt covers off my crate motor won't fit my afr 180's with 1.530" springs. Anyone else run into this? I know the springs are larger than stock by quite a bit, but I had no idea. I hope I won't have to modify any other pair of valve covers I get. Thanks

Will

Are the covers not bottoming out?

Are the rocker arm tightened down?

Re: Anyone else have valvecover fitment issues with AFR heads?

Each bolt hole on the valve cover has a bracket welded in for support, those are hitting my springs and so is the pcv baffle. I haven't even got any rockers mounted up yet, I was just test fitting. Glad I did.

Usually its an issue with roller rockers and those braces. You can trim them or maybe just cut them out entirely where they are hitting. The baffle is an issue though, running without some sort of baffle is just asking for oil use... been there, done that. A piece of sheetmetal to block a direct path to the hole will work, if thats an option you'd like to consider.
