Which oval port heads?

Are you sure about that compression ratio? What did you intend to burn for fuel?

Re: engine horsepower help

Well here`s what my calculations come up with...I`m assuming by stroking you mean a 1/4 stroke...

cylinder bore size 4.310
piston stroke length 4.250
head gasket bore 4.375
gasket thickness .039
combustion chamber cc 119.
piston dome CC 25.5
piston / deck clearance .016

calculated engine compression 10.502183258123432:1
total displacement volume 106.93282925581089 CC

to get a true 12:1 you will need a 40cc dome. So with a 496 cubic inch with a pump gas friendly 10.5 to 1 and a small hyd flat tappet, 1 7/8 headers, dual plane intake and oval port heads you will have quite the torque monster, I would guess it to have around 575-600 ft lbs of torque and probably 500 HP or so at a lower rpm say somewhere around 3500-4000, that is one hell of a pump gas STREET motor!
