v belt to serpentine
I have searched this and couldn't find an answer. In the other threads I found they had the serpentine but but never said if they had the whole car for a parts car that the setup came from.
I've got an 88 camaro with a carbed 350 and a vbelt pully system. Im converting it to serpentine but I keep reading about fuel line problems. I have a 91 rs parts car that I'm pulling the serp setup off of...is everything that I need there or am I still going to have problems?

Re: v belt to serpentine
Shouldn't be a problem, converting it back to how it came originally.
Don't forget, you MUST change the water pump; the serp one turns backwards. No pumping will occur if you put a serp drive on a V-belt pump.

Re: v belt to serpentine
here's my story it may help or not. but i pulled my serpentine off my 92 rs mainly because of the march under drive pulleys and put them on a 86 iroc with a carbed 350 (not original) all the was strait forward. but my fuel lines where a little tricky but i think it was because of my setup. I'm running a edelbrock fuel pump with the csb bottom plate to get the lines to fit if not they will the k member i think, all i know is it will hit something. after that i have a stainless braids fuel line made for Chevy small block edel. pump running up to the in line fuel filter which is hooked up to the edel. carb. the lines do fit but i can't get the in line filter to stay level there's a little pitch going down. i sure all this could be fixed with a fitting or two but it works plus I'm planning on changing the whole top end this summer. new heads, carb, intake so I'll have to change the lines around anyways. hope this helps you out
