Its rare, but it happens. You might be able to pull out the dipstick tube, and hope the rest of the dipstick is in there. My guess would be though, that the rest is either on the bottom of the oil pan, or, wrapped around the crank somewhere. (though, not as likely....) How much is gone?
Try and remove the dipstick tube, and see how much of the dipstick is in the tube. (have a new one right there handy, they are dirt cheap at the parts store, although, I am unsure if you can get anything other than chrome..... There will be a bolt thru a tab on the dipstick, to hold it in, BUT, make sure you pull it STRAIGHT!!!! out. If it breaks off in there, that is no fun at all. Maybe wanna hit it with some PB blaster before ya try and pull it.
I hope the other piece is in the tube or I will have to take the pan down
Get one of those $2 telescoping magnetic pick-up tools, drain the oil pan, and stick it in there and fish around - see if you can pull anything out that may have fallen in. Could do the same down the dipstick tube hole.
