have an automatic 92 v6 3.1 l camaro...i just pulled it out of my drive way it started fine...as i got out of the driveway it got really shaky like it would stall....then a few seconds later it did stall..i tried to start it but it wouldnt turn over...i tried a few more times it still didnt work...i came back a few minutes later and it still didnt work.. i have 3/4 left in my gas tank ...any ideas what could wrong

no sir i have not...i just got the car a month ago..it has 90k miles on it i doubt the previous owners changed it...they kept care of the care but they only took care out obvious things like exhaust paint and rims not the engine..but its been driving perfectly fine until yesterday.
Change the fuel filter and then take a fuel pressure reading. That's the first place to start.
The biggest things that keep happening to me with these cars are,
fuel filter - should be changed yearly
fuel pump - dies early because fuel filter doesn't get changed often enough
fuel pump relay - dies early because it is running a dying fuel pump
ignition coil - dies from heat and insulation breakdown; shorts to mounting bracket
ignition module - dies from heat
ignition pick up coil - dies from heat
well i just replaced my spark plug wires, plugs, and ignition coil and also distributor cap and rotor but that was a month ago so i dont think that did anything wrong but ill check into the fuel ****......thanks for ur help if u have any further advice tips etc....please tell me im new withs cars im only 16

My friend, You are most certainly in the right place.
Check the easy stuff first though, just make sure it is not something obvious, like the connector fell out of the coil, or some such nonsense. Find out what is missing (spark, or fuel, if you are out of air, you have a whole new fish to fry....) and then find out why.

thanks...im not quite sure what it could be i mean its been runnen fine then it just stalled..i have an after market intake on it and im not sure if its somthin with fuel cuz we could smell gas like ti was getting flooded or somthin and i dont feel like spenden $500 to fix it do u think it could be the alternator or batter
haha i actually ram the intake out of PVC but looked at a performance intake for a camaro and i made it identical...the Mass Airflow Sensor is still hooked up. and i have tried holding the pedal down it didn't seem to do anything it cant be something to do with air or fuel from my knowledge becuase the intake has been working for about 2 months now and i was able to smell gas like i flooded the engine after bout the 100th time i tried to crank it..its getting towed into the shop on monday, im still thinken its somthin elecrical but what do i no your the expert from what it sounds like from what your tellen me
take your ignition module and have it checked at advance or auto zone for free. I am betting on either the module or the pick up coil inside the distributor and underneath the rotor.
They die from heat and have probably just given out.
Sounds like you made a PVC intake pipe, not an intake manifold. The problem with that is that PVC can't take the heat and may have moved and done something to your Mass Air Flow sensor. You should always use CPVC for cold air intake pipes because they resist chemicals and heat better.
A 92 shouldn't have mass air sensors. What do you have hooked up? Air temp sensor maybe?
Check to see if you have spark?
When something dosen't start, always start with air/fuel/fire.
Then when you know which one it's missing, get the book out and start troubleshooting that system.

Btw don't ever check the power from the coil to the distributor, or the individual plug wires. You will blow up a multimeter, or test light. I think most factory cars are 25/30,000 volts.

maybe the temperature sensor its the sensor that was in the original intake box where the old filter was i just made a new intake system that ran to the box with a performance filter and kept the sensor in there..i no i no im an idiot lol but it still works
