Never heard of this model before...

it is a Firebird GX. I'm assuming some dealer option. It is a v6 but has all the trans am extras like ground effects. Does anyone know anything about this?

anyway I'm purchasing this bad boy tomorrow seeing as the body is in perfect condition and I'm looking for something to put my lt1 in :-D

Re: Never heard of this model before...

I used to have one of these. It was a 1990 model year. Mine had the 3.1L v6 in it and the trans am appearance package. It had the ground effects and the fog lights, but he hood and the rear spoiler were the regular firebird hood and spoiler. Other than that, it was a base firebird.

Re: Never heard of this model before...

ok so I'm crazy. but the person above me is correct. Only mines and XS sorry for the GX crap. It was late when I looked at it. Turns out this was only release in California, The ssa was in Sacramento and the XS was in LA. It was only done in 89 and those 2 cities. Later they just named it a firebird with "extras".

Anyway I purchased it today. I super happy with the body. Engine won't start but ehh thats not why I bought it.
