Help me please?!!! 92 chevy camaro RS VATS

I have a 92 chevy camaro I bought just a few days ago and I have read through the threads but most guys have the auto tranny I have a 5 speed and want to bypass the vats module? And does anyone have a picture of the freakin thing, the wiring in this sucker is well interesting to say the least? I cannot get it to turn over at all and get a code flash on the dash for infl rest on the dash that flashes on and off with the key on? Please help I am trying to get this sucker up and running for a second car for the summer!!

Ill look into it more but it Should just be an orange and white wire coming out of the steering column from the ignition lock cylnder itself. I had the wire break at the lock cylnder twice so I finally did the bypass myself. You can also get passed this by prom programming, although that of course costs more.

I didn't know there was a difference in how the VATS between auto & manual... If you can still get a reading out of the key then you can just copy that resistance with resistor inline of the orange & white wires. On mine (after having no clue about the system & researching it after it was too late) I had ended up getting a chip to bypass it in the computer & I also found the neutral safety switch (behind the drivers kick panel plastic) and bypassed that... its been a year or so since I had to mess with that so I may not be the most accurate at explaining this.
