i found an ad for these heads for $100, says it came of a running engine when pulled. any info on these heads would be very awesome.

There are few head castings that are any worse for performance, than those. They have HUGE chambers, poor combustion chamber design, very thin castings in certain critical places (notably, between the 2 valves in every cyl, and around the heat crossover passage in the 2 center exh ports), and terrible exhaust flow.
I would not pay $100 for them. I would not pay $1 for them. I would not accept them if they were "given" to me, and would institute legal action against anyone who attempted to leave them on my property ("give" them to me) anyway. I would consider accepting them if someone paid me $100 to do so, providing they were clean; but I'd have to see them first. If they're dirty, I would require more payment in order to be willing to accept them.
In other words, giving $100 for a pair, is paying at least $200 more than they're worth, to me.
Does that help put them into perspective?

Roughly paraphrased into modern English, and applied to figuring out what's wrong with your car:
The simplest explanation that fits all the facts is probably the right one.
Well worth the $100 if you are building a LOW performance engine.
If you want to end up with the lowest possible engine power then grab 'em up before someone else gets 'em.
Recently I had to get rid of my old trusty K Kar when it expired.
I arranged for a guy who wanted it for parts to come and take it away while I was at work.
There happened to be a pair the 624 casting heads on the ground next to the car. No lie; the goof ball steals the 624 heads when he takes the car

hahaha, that's hilarious! Now they're his problem. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to line up next to him at the strip sometime. Then you can ask him how well they're working out for him.
Junk heads. When I just needed something, anything, just to make my car run I looked at a few pairs of these. I had 2 pairs, and there were 2 more pair at work. After cleaning them up all 8 heads ended up being cracked. Wasnt worth cleaning up any of them. All I that was worth anything on any of them, was the valves. I'd stay away, far away.
oh ok. i wasnt to sure about these heads. thought i ask. they could be eather a frickin awesome head for dirt cheap! or pure crappy heads.
im not gunna get them. if they were good heads. i might fix them up and resell them for more then what i paid for it.
