Throttle Body Sensor
Ok, 2 wks ago I was doing some maintenace on my bird. When I noticed 1 of the 2 screws holding the throttle body sensor which I think thats what it is so I included a pic. Again 1 of the screws was missing. SO I removed the other 1 and went to the auto parts and got another. So put it back in and drove fine but a day or 2 went by and the car was hard to start and mileage is bad. It took several turns of the key to start. Yesterday was worse. Today the RPM's at start were going up and down between 1000 and 1500. WHat did I do. Is there a way to adjust it or what. 91 Bird with the V6.

Re: Throttle Body Sensor
Well did what you told me and found out that the sensor was bad. Replaced it and my bird runs great. Still a slight starting issue but not bad like before. Also what is the average running temp for a v6 engine. While Im running i believe its around 160 but if Im stick in traffic it will rise to 220 then the electric fan kicks in. so should I be alarmed bout this or is this common.
