Bucks And Jerks on corners and acceleration..PLEASE HELP

Ok so i bought this car while i was in Iraq over the internet. I was told it didn't run and blah blah blah. Well upon my return i did some tests and narrowed it to fuel pump being bad as well as transmission. I replaced Fuel Pump and it started just fine, smoked a whole lot because of old Gas. Immediatly after replacing pump I tuned it up, "plugs, wires, rotor, cap". I then replaced transmission with a known good used one. While i had car on lift i noticed the exhaust was cut right after the Catalytic converter, hence me telling you about the tranny...You see the exhaust ends right under the tranny and i beleive has somthing to do with the stalling...it has never died, just bucks or stumbles... And it will not do this when vehicle is cold...only when warmed up and been driving awhile. will this heat from the exhaust cause this problem? Help any ideas are greatly appreciated. It is a 91 Rs with a 305tbi.

Too much heat can ruin a tranny in the long run, but your problem sounds more like an engine sensor issue. Take the car to a place that can scan the ECM for error codes, or read them out yourself - using the paper clip trick you'll find described in a sticky somewhere around here.
