| please help, 305 TPI Car Keeps Bucking & Stalling
For the past few months my '92 305TPI 5spd Trans Am would stall quite frequently after coasting to a complete stop. It has progressively got worse and more frequent, and now the car will buck/jerk sporadically at any speed, while accelerating or decelerating, has a mind of its own. The ECM is not throwing any codes except an occasional and quite infrequent code 32 that goes away quickly.
I drove it around with the fuel pressure gauge against the windshield, appears to be no variation in fuel pressure even while the bucking is occurring. I did notice tonight as i had the heater on, the blower motor would shut on and off as the bucking was occurring, then remain on as the bucking stopped. While the bucking is occurring, my volt gauge does not fluctuate but remains where it should be.
This is a relatively stock setup and the motor only has 35K miles on the rebuild. Plugs,wires,coil, and ignition module were replaced less than a year ago. Any input would be greatly appreciated! | | | |
