Any idea what it will cost to have someone spec my cam? Ive got a cam that came out of a sbc 355 I bought and I cant find out who the manufactuer is by the laser etched #s. I was told its a compcam 268 and the lift matches but its not marked by comp cams anywhere. I need to put this on a cam machine that will tell me all the info on it. Anyone know a place? thanks. Im in Chicago if anyone happens to know a shop close to the city.
Re: I need a cam doctor or equivelent..where to go
Okay, I called fasttimes and they would have to use a degree wheel,, so then I called comp cams...$15 to have the cam specs read and printed out on a sheet for me.... thats definetly cheaper than I thought it would be.
