Car: 1992 Z28 Engine: 305 Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: 3.42 | Wanted: Fuel Leak Help and a Diagram of the Lines on the Factory Fuel Tank I have a tank from an early 3rd gen Camaro ('82-'86?) and I was wondering if anyone had a labeled diagram of the fuel lines that come out of the tank, which goes where.
Also, does anyone have the same diagram of the hard fuel lines that are on the body of a '92 Camaro in the rear where they would connect to the tank. My problem: I have a '92 Camaro "track car". It has an older factory fuel tank (early 3rd gen) swapped in to it. I believe the tank is from a '82-'86 (not sure). The fuel pump is electric and external, it is a generic Summit Racing fuel injection pump. The car runs great, BUT, the hose that I *believe* to be hooked up to the breather (?) line-out on the fuel tank leaks fuel when the car is running. I'm curious if this is actually a breather or something else? When I say it leaks, it'll leave you a nice puddle in a few seconds after the car is running.
Is this actually a breather? Or do I have my lines crossed? It comes directly out of the tank.
Help! I obviously can't take my car to the track with it leaking fuel | | |
