HI EVERYBODY,
MY QUESTION IS SIMPLE. I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT MY 305 HAS VORTEC HEADS (CASTING NUMBER:12558062). i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYBODY HERE KNOWS IF THOSE HAPPEN TO BE VORTECS FOR A 305 OR A 350????? ALSO, IF ANYBODY KNOWS THE SPECS ON MY HEADS, SUCH AS FLOW CAPACITY, SIZE OF COMBUSTION CHAMBER SIZE, COMPRESSION RATION (CONSIDERING THAT MY 305 BLOCK IS AN LG4, WITH FLAT TOP PISTON...I THINK!!!), ETC....
I believe those are 350 heads. I know thats one of the casting numbers that is sought after.

not necessarily. Like in my case for example, I have heads with a 062 casting, but the heads are on a 305. They are just heads that are designed for a 350, but can also work on a 305. Keep them.....they're great!!!
