IDENTIFY MY VORTEC HEAD (305 OR 350)

HI EVERYBODY,
MY QUESTION IS SIMPLE. I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT MY 305 HAS VORTEC HEADS (CASTING NUMBER:12558062). i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYBODY HERE KNOWS IF THOSE HAPPEN TO BE VORTECS FOR A 305 OR A 350????? ALSO, IF ANYBODY KNOWS THE SPECS ON MY HEADS, SUCH AS FLOW CAPACITY, SIZE OF COMBUSTION CHAMBER SIZE, COMPRESSION RATION (CONSIDERING THAT MY 305 BLOCK IS AN LG4, WITH FLAT TOP PISTON...I THINK!!!), ETC....

THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!

YOU DON'T NEED TO YELL!! READING TEXT DOES NOT REQUIRE A VOLUME KNOB!!

Now... those are '062' castings (the last 3 digits of the casting number) and they are the good 5.7 Vortec heads.

Thats why the smilie... just letting you know. ALL CAPS is the internet equal of yelling, and on top of that its pretty annoying to read.

Re: IDENTIFY MY VORTEC HEAD (305 OR 350)

not necessarily. Like in my case for example, I have heads with a 062 casting, but the heads are on a 305. They are just heads that are designed for a 350, but can also work on a 305. Keep them.....they're great!!!
