whats the best way to "hookup" using stock gears and non posi rearend? ill take off from the line and just spin, and hitting the bottle makes me peel out even worse. any ideas?
A posi or limited slip center section would be the best option. Even a sticky (one) in an open rear probably wouldn't do as good as a posi or limited slip center section.
Short of that, its just a matter of ROLLING into the throttle, not overpowering the tire & not STABBING it to the floor.

lol im visualizing ONE slick/DR on a car hahaha thanks that just made my day.
to the op, a posi rear end is your best first step, then some sticky tires
how hard was that to mock up to your car? any issues or bolt straight up?
i didnt install it myself i had my mechanic do it since he already had the car on the lift for the tranny rebuild but its pretty much swap and play although your going to need brakes from the 4th gen becuase the 3rds wont fit
im talking calipers and rotors wont fit u need them from a 4th gen idk about e-brake since myn isnt hooked up everything else will be fine
OK, but I thought the PBR calipers & rotors were the same, from 89-97?

Look at the center section cover.....9 bolt heads = a 9-bolt &, you guessed it....10 bolt heads = a 10-bolt. Only 2 options there were (except the RARE Dana 44 under the Firehawks)
