Car: 1991 Camaro RS Engine: 3.1L MPFI Transmission: 700r4 Axle/Gears: stock | 3.1L V6 Engine "stuttering" poor mileage and gas smell Those of you on EPFBA know this thread already and I've received some help but this situation has just taken me to a desperate level. Anybody that can help me with this, please do!
I love this thing but it seems every month is a new problem, really tough to keep up with for me. I'm still in HS and make just enough money at my job to pay the insane amount of insuarance for it.
Anyway, now it's sputtering when I accelerate. And it rattles when idling under 1,000 RPM's. However the rattle seems like something's loose down there and rubbing against the side of something else. Either way, I have no money whatsoever for a repair.
I'm posting this though because maybe someone has experienced a similar problem with their car before. Anyone know what might be the problem, and what the cost for repair is?
Like I said it stutters and hesitates randomly when accelerating. No check engine light comes on. (And it works, used to be on for a temp sensor.) I was thinking maybe it's a fuel system oriented problem. I use BP gasoline, none of that cheap crap. 3.1L MPFI.
Thanks for reading, please keep it in your prayers! ha
