Car: 1990 IROC Engine: 5.7 TPI Transmission: T-56 | L98 engine servicing limits
I have a 90 iroc L98 engine and I'm currently rebuilding it. I'm wondering does anyone has the specs on the limits the crank and block can be bored/undersized too? I would like to keep the displacement stock and just hone the parts out but if I must bore them out, what size do you guys suggest. This is my first engine rebuild and would like some advice. I'm going with 200cc heads, Mini Ram, zz9 cam, edelbrock headers and 52mm throttle body. I have a haynes manual but I'm not sure if the specs in the overhaul sections are accurate. You guys have more experience with the cars than the techs in the book. Thanks a bunch
