Does this sound alright for my 92 RS with a 4 speed manual and 3.42 rear end?

406 SBC with dished pistons, Comp Extreme Energy XE284H cam, 350 heads with 70cc chambers 1.72 intake 1.5 exhaust (comes out to 10.16 to 1 CR)

600CFM carb

Desktop Dyno shows PkTq=501@4250 and PkHp=406@4250

Re: 406 SBC

Your carb would be too small, except that those heads will not get you anywhere near 400 horses, Why even consider them? You need to find some better heads, or at least have those cut for 1.94" intake valves, plus have the machine shop drill them for the steam holes that are needed for use on a 400 block.
