Battery drain possibly found but I need some info!!!

I have had a constant battery drain problem ever since I got my IROC which usually drains the battery within 6-7 days after I park it. I drove the car yesterday and todady I went into the garage to take a reading with my multimeter to see where the battery amps were. While taking the reading I noticed a clicking/scratchlike sound coming from what I believe is the Throttle Position Sensor. Im attaching two pics and I'm also going to post this in the Electronics section.

Would this be a sensor malfunction and would it cause my battery to drain within the 6-7 days?

Any help is appreciated.

I'd say it's more likely the thing below it (IAC). The IAC makes noise since it's a little stepper motor that screws the pintle in and out to set idle speed. It shouldn't make noise with the engine off though. I can't imagine why the TPS would make noise on its own.

Thanks for the info about the IAC, what I did in the meantime is disconnect the TPS and will check tomorrow to see if the battery is still draining.

Thanks again

Did you check to see if the fuel pump is running constantly?

Fuel pump gets a direct current from the battery through the Oil Pressure Sending Unit to the fuel pump - with a bad OPSU the pump can run constantly, and this will kill a battery in about 5-7 days. You can remove the key, and every fuse in the car, and the fuel pump can still get power from the battery if the OPSU is bad.

Wait until late at night, in a garage if possible - place ear on hump in rear and listen for the fuel pump running while the key is in your pocket. If it's running, get a new OPSU for about $35. This happened in my RS - drove me nuts for weeks until I finally heard the fp running late one night with key in the house!
