anything i can do to grease or something? the noise is so loud its drowning out the exhaust. sounds like garbage. i dont have a/c its just there until i can get/afford a a/c delete pulley or a complete v-belt set up. so is there anything i can do to help the whine temporarily? orrrr is somebody got a compressor or a delete pully for about $11.13?? its all i got in my paypal. lol
thanks in advance for any simple 'yes, you could do this..' or 'no, your screwed..' answer
Re: A/C compressor is whinning. bearings going out
Do you have v-belts or a serpentine belt? If they're v-belts you can probably just get a shorter belt and simply not run the compressor. You might be able to if you a serp belt but I think your screwed if you do. I don't know if could grease anything, nothing is really "greaseable"

Don't know if it will work, but if you are serpentine belted and still have the A.I.R. pump on, maybe if you looked at the AIR pump removal tech article, and rerouted your belt to bypass the A/C instead of the AIR pump - might need a different length belt, but it might work - see the tech article pics and description and maybe you could rig something temporarily.
