Take in one of the carb bolts/studs and have the parts guy match it up to the appropriate Heli-Coil kit. I *think* its a 5/16" coarse thread, but don't take my word for it. Bring one of the bolts or studs with you and match it to a kit. If its a stud, match it to the coarse thread, not the fine thread side. (most carb studs have a coarse thread that goes into the manifold, and a fine thread for the nut that holds down the carb)
what size is the bolt that is supposed to go there?
If I could remember that I wouldn't have posted this... I think adam may be right that its a 5/16-16.. I already have the helicoil kit in my tool box at work but the car is at a relatives house and I'm not sure where the carb studs are.. I just can't remember what size it is and wanted to bring home the right kit.. I guess I'll just grab em all and match it up when I get there.
