How much power can a t-top take?

With out mods what can a t-top camaro handle without doing damage or affecting the drivability (ie. twisting)? How much more with subframe connectors like the ones UMI makes? Thanks

Re: How much power can a t-top take?

The first year I raced, I only had SFC. The car managed 14.0. The second year, my first pass down the track was a 12.0 and a roll bar was required at 11.99 at the time. I had a 6 point roll bar by the next race. The 6 point roll bar and SFC were in the car until I was knocking on the door of 9's when a full cage went in. Through all the abuse I've put my car through, I've never had a problem with the t-tops.

no problems with t-tops here. Mike Frantena is running 8's in his t-top third gen.
