I have a 91 Camaro RS with the 305 TBI. For some reason when I initially go to start it, it will run for about 2-4 seconds and then die. It does this for about 4-10 times before it will actually run. Then it could run great for hours, or more often than not, it will die out again randomly while going down the road . [Note when it stalls or dies there is no sputtering or spitting and all electrical stays on. It is just the motor stopping.] Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a problem like this but mine starts fine. The first thing that comes to mind is fuel delivery Second is a weak ignition system third is cloged exhaust
Have you checked Ignition timing, or Ignition control module (the thermal grease under module can dry out)? Hows the fuel filter and fuel pump? Are plug wires and plugs in good/ optimal condition?
Check the fuel pressure, could be a original fuel filter, or a pump going bad. What happened to mine was the little rubber connector hose between the pump and the metal line rotted a hole and couldn't pump enough to keep it running.(was loosing pressure). So I say check fuel pressure if its low, replace the filter first and check again, if problem persists, your gonna have to drop the tank:/
