whats the fastest speed in MPH you have been in a third gen??
i have always wondered with some of your modded third gens (including mine) how fast you have traveled in mph. (idk how fast iv had mine because it has the 85mph speedo). but im just curious to what some of you have been .

now here is an article piece from a road&track magazine back in 86' when they were comparing the mustang gt vs the iroc-z. (the 5.7 iroc) and its pretty much showing 150 mph. anyone been faster?? and thats with the stock 700r4... so post your fastest speed, transmission, rear end gear, and wheel size.

ive had my bird pretty fast. Go fast enough where i would let go of the gas pedal and it took 20 seconds to register back on the speedo.

I've gone into the "I don't know" range at the end of the speedo, so after doing the math, I've gone 128 mph with my 84 that had a 305 with headers at the time.

170 mph back when I had 2.73's in now I only go 130ish
