lt1 build

Hi there new to the forum, just wanted to ask if its alright to build a lt1 on a stock bottom end and what the hp capabilities are on it.

ok thanks.Next question im converting it to carbed i have a holley 650 double pumper,edelbrock super victor intake,hei distributor,vortec heads and 1.52 comp cam roller rockers.looking into a cam dont know what to get.with the right cam what hp am i looking at? thanks.

The LT1 uses reverse cooling so you have to use specific heads.

You either use all LT1 parts or all regular SBC parts; they dont mix and match.
LT1 block , heads , intake only fit LTI
Do you actually have a LT1 because all the parts you list are not ?

If you want to put a carb on a LTI you need this
