So what procedure was used to set the timing?
What is the stock timing specification.
Did you get it up to normal operating temperature before setting the timing?

Re: wtf? retard to get power? timing help plz

at first a timing gun, its v belt system. but i retarded it so far a timing gun is useless now.
umm??? your guess is as good as mine, the dumb a55 i got it from had it painted and those stupid sobs took the sticker off, so i dont have any stickers what so ever, none for emissions or even the rpo codes for like paint and what not. not to meation im starting to think the motor was rebuilt.
and yep finally got the high idle down from a whopping 3500, so i thought now it still idles there sometimes.
