Distributor Bolt (English or Metric)? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hey fellas,

Title about sums it up. Car's six miles away and I need to order a distributor wrench so it gets in this weekend. Do I need a 13/15mm wrench or a 1/2-9/16" wrench?

You use a distributor wrench? Why not just the open end of your normal wrench?

It's probably on the TPI engine. The EGR solenoid and coil block it completely. One of the few times you need a "bonafide" distributor wrench.
BTW, Sonix when are you gonna bump your compression to 14:1? It's the same as running a blower, you know...

oh ok... There's my ignorance showing I suppose... I never did figure out what made those tools so popular..

haha, as soon as I pick up some epoxy to goober on my pistons to make some home made pop up pistons i'll be set! Then just add some cheap rocket fuel to my gas tank to add the octane needed and it'll be cheaper too! Right? Just POUR some rocket fuel into my gas tank eh?
