SMOG puzzle... 87 Forumla TPI

Hey guys.

I have an 87 Firebird Formula with the 5.7L TPI that me and my buddy have recently re-built.

pulled the engine, cleaned everything, new gaskets and seals, all new fluids, painted engine bay, removed AC, and slapped it back in.

got it running great, and took it to SMOG.
during the first test, somehow EGR had come completely unhooked. I'm sure the tech noticed it right off the bat, but he was nice enough to not say anything and just run the entire test without it.

anyways, for the second test, the car was driven for about 1.5hrs before the test, EGR was hooked up, and some of the vacuum lines were replaced. got everything to pass, but CO is still crazy high.

here's mystery one:
look at NOX for test #2. Measured 10?? Also, O2 seems really low, only 2.9%.

Car has intermittently thrown Code 32, so I suspect something is wrong with EGR valve, solenoid, or lines?

Would that explain variable NOX numbers? What about the high CO?

thanks!!
