Ford v6 3.8 lt 671 Blower

I got the 671 blower for 150$ with lots of extra parts
where should I start ? pull the motor and change the pistons first? how many pounds shot I run it?

New intake for sure probably a new belt (differnt lenth) and drive pulleys since you are probably going to have more displacement....as far as motor reqirements here are some very good links that will save me a lot of typing.......

The blower that Ford installed on the 3.8 is a Roots design, and so is the famous 6-71, but Ford did not install a 6-71 design of Roots.

lol I assumed he wasnt talking about a stock blower......were you?

A 6-71 blower is a 413 C.I. per revolution blower a stock ford blower is probably around 120-150 C.I. big difference.

either way the links I posted cover the basics and those still hold no matter what size the blower is.
