will AFR 195's work with a SDPC intake manifold? I currently have Vortec heads.

Re: AFR heads

I'd call AFR for that info. Rather than get opinions and guesses, get it straight from the folks who'd know.

Re: AFR heads

Since you say you have Vortec heads now, I`ll say its safe to assume the manifold you have is a Vortec-style, to match those heads.

As far as I know, AFR does not make a Vortec-style head, only the traditional SBC style. You`ll need a different manifold to use the AFRs.

Re: AFR heads

AFR does make a Vortec-style head now. Didn't used to a while back but they do now.

Only available in the 180cc intake runner size and they are dual-bolt-patterned for both Vortec and standard intakes. AFR part number 912.

You better call and ask them about those heads before you order, though. They don't look any different than their standard heads to me, except for the intake bolt pattern difference. Ask some questions and make sure they'll work with the rest of your parts before you order.

I've never used them so I can't offer any advice.
