383 Machining Question?

Does any clearincing need to be done to a 350 block if one were to get a kit from Eagle or Scat?

Almost certainly some clearancing will have to be done especially on the bottom of bores and prossibly the pan rail because of the bigger throw on a stroker crank;
Amount depends on rod / crank type used.Only way is to mock up block and grind away carefully until required clearance is acheived

Also need to check the rod bolt to cam clearance as well; again dependent apon parts used .May need small base circle cam for clearance

I had to clearance my pan rail in 5 locations.
Not sure what, if anything, the machinist clearanced.
