OK everyone what are chevys best heads that give the highest performance! they need to fit a 305. No aftermarket heads! Also please list what vehicles they are found on and what year(s).
I was always told that my heads were excellent heads. (1984 L69 H.O.) These and the Vortec 305 heads. I think those may be found on later model trucks n such.
From what I have seen, the 305 vortec heads and the 113 aluminum corvette heads. Do a couple of searches and you will find plenty of info on both...and probably some for sale too.
What do you guys think about the 081 Casting 1.84/1.5 valves, (58cc combustion chamber unknown runner sizing). how do those flow and does any one have more info on them, also someone please tell me the rocker arm ratio and stud size on these 081 casting heads from an 87 LB9

081 are essentially the same as the 416, except they use centerbolt valve covers and have the center intake bolts at 72* instead of 90*. They are a good choice.
All factory small blocks had a 3/8" rocker stud and rocker ratio of 1.5
