AFR 1040's direct fit for 89 l98

So I have decided on AFR's 1040 CNC'ed heads for my GTA. I see they are molded after the L98 heads but can I bolt my Accel TPI base right up to them with no mods? Also if anyone has a cam suggestion to go with the heads, a ported Accel TPI, and a 2800 stall, let me know!

Yes, you can bolt them right up. Cam depends on the rest of the engine/drivetrain combo and your intended usage of the vehicle.

I am running a 350, upgraded suspension, 2800 stall, 700r4, 323 gears, MT DR's, CAI, either 1.5 or 1.6 RR's, and do I need a new timing chain for cam swap? I am not using it as a daily driver at all...only weekends cruises and the 1/4 mile. I want to get into the low 12's...no bottle
