Car: 1986 Z28 Camaro Engine: Rebuilt 82' 305 Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: Non-Posi stock =( | Overheated engine with grinding noise. What happened? Hey Everyone,
I got a question unrelated to my 86 Camaro this time. I just can't seem to find answers anywhere, so I figured I would come where all the experts are. Sorry if this goes against posting rules, I will understand this is deleted.
Im thinking about buying a 2003 Mini Cooper "S", and I am aware it needs some engine work. The owner claims the engine overheated while he was driving. He said it overheated, and he heard a grinding noise, and then immediately stopped it. The car is in amazing condition otherwise, so I don't think he beat the crap out of it. What could the grinding be? Rods?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
