when i brake my car shuts off!!
hey, im new here and every body seems like they know alot about the third generation camaros, well i was hoping you guys could help me.
i got a 1992 camaro rs 305 v8 automatic and when im driving and want to slow down my car dies for some reason and before it dies it seems like its starving for fuel, but it will only die when i press the brakes hard.
can anybody help me please?

Does this happen if you hit the brakes hard when sitting still? It could be either a leaking brake booster creating a huge vacuum leak, or it could be your fuel pump pickup sock fell off. When you hit the brakes the fuel goes away from the pickup.

it doesnt do it when its ideling just when its going down the road...i hope its not the fuel pump sock i reallly dont want to drop the tank lol
