hi ,bought a 350 4bolt roller cam clean std bore but when i got home found the bottom bolt hole on the block broken off,where the bell housing bolts on ,can i use the engine ? or do i need to bin it,any advise

A pic would help, it might not be junk. If you can't post a pic, then find an honest engine machinist to look at it.

Depending on what happened, it may be difficult to attach the starter. There is a company making a bracket for the early blocks, like 1955-1956, that might prove useful.
As for attaching the transmission, having to leave out 1 bolt is not a big problem.
