Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: borg 277:1
broken block use or bin
hi ,bought a 350 4bolt roller cam clean std bore but when i got home found the bottom bolt hole on the block broken off,where the bell housing bolts on ,can i use the engine ? or do i need to bin it,any advise

i will try to get a pic tomorow . its the bolt hole on the opisit side to the oil filter,that you bolt the bell housing to

Depending on what happened, it may be difficult to attach the starter. There is a company making a bracket for the early blocks, like 1955-1956, that might prove useful.
As for attaching the transmission, having to leave out 1 bolt is not a big problem.
