Me and a buddy are gonna change my oil in a week or two, so does anyone have any suggestions for a brand of oil and filter?

Re: Just need some opinions

Any name brand oil will do just fine on the street, some guys use synthetics, alot of it is hype if you ask me. Just use the proper weight of oil, it should be 5W-30.
I'd get a standard AC delco oil filter, they seem to have a thick shell (which is alot harder to crush if the filter gets stuck), I like to add alittle oil to the filter so the oil pressure builds up quicker when you first start it. Tighten the filter hand tight, don't use a wrench to tighten it, it'll be very hard to remove next if you do.

Thanks man, and I was going to use conventional anyways because I've heard of synthetic developing leaks more often
