Water inside pistons
Hi there guys... I got a small block 350 and i tore it down... I took the heads off an there was water inside 2 pistons... But i checked the head gaskets and the head itself and there where no cracks... Im going to send the block to the machine shop.. Hope the block isnt craked inside

probably isn't cracked,likely just rainwater that got in

Pistons where full... The engie was removed from was friday... It didnt rain... All the oil was mixed with water... All brown... Drained? I donk know.. Still one of the rods was twisted

Whaaat? I mean.. You mean it could be cracked from the inside and water passed over to the oil?

With a bent rod and water in the cylinders it's a pretty safe bet there's a crack somewhere. It doesn't mean the block isn't salvageable, but the cost of any repair will certainly cost more than another core.
