Fixing up for car show

So I am wanting to fix up my v6 fuel injected 3.1L 4 shift Automatic 1991 firebird, it's in near perfect condition but I want to fix it up better so I can take it to car shows before the end of next summer, I was wondering what you guys think I should do I'm probably going to start with replacing the clutch fan with an electric fan.The main thing I want is to make my car look good under the hood while also increasing performance. Also this is my first car and I have had it for about 2 years, and I would like to not go over a couple thousand beings I'm still a teenager and my job doesn't particularly pay much. Thank you for your time
