Car: 1985 Camaro SC
Engine: 2.8L V6
Issues with performance.
Where to being.. I've got a 1985 Camaro Sport Coupe 2.8l v6 MPFI. My car wanted to stall sometimes right after the fuel light would come on. Guessing it was a problem with fuel flow I replaced the fuel filter. No dice. Replaced the fuel injectors with little success. After I had the new injectors in, starting the car up, the engine would rumble quite a bit and have a pretty rough idle. The car lost a lot of power after the switch. I push the pedal all the way down just to hit about 45-50. The engine would get pretty loud as if it was pushing a sh*t load of power through it, then my transmission would kick in and it would shift, pushing me back in the seat. It's all wrong. Very different from how it drove before the switch. It's like the engine pushes a lot of power but the car doesn't go anywhere, then the transmission would kick in later rather than sooner.
After examining the engine bay from some obvious problems, I noticed one of my PCV valve elbows was cracked. I drove the car to a spot I could look at it better and in that time it opened up even more to the point I had to remove it. I've been going through a bunch of BS trying to find a proper, leak-free rubber PCV valve elbow and hose. I went to the local junkyard and the guys pulled some stuff from some other cars. It looks like a decent repair job but it still leaks. You can hear it when the engine is on, standing over the engine bay. The car still has a problem with acceleration, rough idle, etc.
I'm no mechanic and I'm assuming it's the hose and elbow but a set of well experienced eyes on this problem is greatly appreciated. Pics incoming.
After replacing the injectors with these I had noticed the crack in the elbow:

Decided to just replace the PCV valve altogether because it was old and eh. This is with the new PCV valve and the new elbow / tube I got at the local junkyard.
The third pic is the part the PCV valve hose connects into. (Top hose is the hose we want to be looking at. Had to go to the other side of the engine bay for a better view.) A three-way if you will, just like this.
